- How do you select the brands/jobs you feature on Jobzilla?
A little bit of art, a little bit of science.
The art part is a gut feel process where we discuss among our team whether we’d personally be excited to work for that brand. If we are, happy days. If not, we’ll let you down gently.
The science part is our curated list of industries we know are exciting for our community of job contenders. This list is updated frequently but, right now, it’s mostly centered around the boardsports and creative sectors.
- Can I appeal the decision if my brand/job listing has been rejected.
We’re always open to discussion and will explain our reasons why a certain decision has been made. Often, it’s because our job list is bursting and by adding new brands it will detract from the curated experience our community prefers. As new opportunities/industry listings open up, we’ll be sure to get in touch and restart the romance.
- How often do you post new jobs?

- Do I have a better chance of getting an interview by applying through Jobzilla?
Our egos (and our sales team) want to say absolutely. Honestly, though, your chances of being hired mostly depend on your skill set and how they apply to the job at hand.
Saying that, HR managers do know that people whose interests are aligned with their brand are more likely to apply through us. A little tick in the box to kick off the conversation.

We’re planning on creating a full info hub where we give advice on the best things to put in a CV, how to decide which job is right for you, and all sorts of other helpful tips & tidbits.

- How do I sign up to be scouted by brands I like? Does it cost anything?
