Retail Operations Manager
As a Visual Merchandiser, you train and guide retail teams to execute market leading retail experiences.
Providing excellent guest experiences is the absolute core of what we do. This role engages with the store teams across Australia to ensure they have the training and tools to offer an exceptional guest experience.
In partnership with national leadership create an events and activations calendar specific to Sydney.
Ideate and execute events in place of practice and store that engage the core mountain athlete
With support of brand marketing execute in store brand and commercial activations.
Manage and support existing regional community partners. In conjunction with brand marketing prospect for regional new partners.
Manage and support existing regional community partners, athletes and ambassadors. In conjunction with brand marketing prospect for regional new partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Training)
Partner with global training team to bring Arc’teryx training programs to Australia.
Execute role, guest experience, and product training for all new Product Guides and Leads.
Provide ongoing support and coaching to PGs and Leads on demand.
Execute quarterly training programs for all brand stores.
Execute product training events at select premium partners on an ad hoc basis.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Communication or equivalent working experience.
1 year of on floor retail experience inclusive of VM responsibilities.
Active and ongoing participation in at least two of the follow places of practice, trail, snow and climb.

Excellent communication skills both one to one and when presenting publicly.
Able to manage ambiguity with problem solving and process creation skills.
Strong time management skills when faced with competing priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Understanding of local climb, trail and snow places of practice and participants.
Ability to digest complex product information and clearly articulate them back.
