E-Commerce Merchandise Manager  Full Time

Outerknown is looking for an experienced ECommerce Merchandise Manager to work closely with the Senior ECommerce Manager and cross-functional teams to lead our web merchandising and content strategies and own the day-to-day operational needs of the site and product assortment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Optimize website layout, onsite search, navigation, recommendation features and functionality based on analysis of identified key performance indicators and customer data.
• Ensure .com merchandising metrics are integrated into the vernacular of the business, into current and future reporting, and ultimately champion an improved companywide Digital IQ.
• Leverage cross-functional partnerships to constantly improve the .com experience, conduct competitive analysis to evaluate merchandise, content and product presentation to inform future strategies.
• Create, update, and maintain web content in content management system, monitor content on live site and trouble shoot or escalate.
• Manage vendor relationships for development, testing, execution and maintenance of web merchandising capabilities and technologies
• Create, monitor, test, and publish new content pages to ensure that they are displaying properly, following UX design best practices, and providing an optimal experience across devices 
• Conduct A/B tests to optimize the user experience and commercial performance of the Outerknown website.
• Represent the e-Commerce team and advocate channel needs during the content request process and inform timelines necessary for successful product and creative launches.
• Collaborate with Creative, Brand, UX, and other stakeholders to make sure content follows best practices, and maximizes the user experience
• Own the HP calendar 
• Partner with UX to develop and implement high performing page templates across HP, PLP, PDP, LP’s.
• Research and promote content design solutions to drive user engagement, efficiency, and accessibility of content
•  Perform systematic site audits to identify and correct any site errors and/or bugs including but not limited to imagery, copy, pricing, search, filtering, tagging, swatches, colorways, etc
• Assist with quarterly sale execution

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years managing website merchandising and content management
• Experience in A/B testing or user research methods
• Experience in Shopify Plus preferred
• Keen level of focus, attention to detail, and organization
• Strong project management and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to roll up the sleeves
• Have a passion for keeping up with innovations and trends in digital marketing and e-commerce
• Keen analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

This hybrid position will be based in our corporate office in Culver City, CA.
