The National Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales activities nationwide to deliver on aggressive sales targets. This role involves implementing strategic sales plans to achieve URBNSURF’s goals across Corporate Learn to Surf Programmes, Private Bookings and Schools.
The URBNSURF Mission is to build and operate world-class surf parks in Australia that deliver high quality man-made waves and authentic surfing experiences to new and existing surfers of all ages, experience and ability.
Our strategic intent is to be commercially successful in doing so and be seen as the market leader in the creation of an authentic surf experience while delivering outstanding returns for shareholders.
Within this context the National Sales Manager will contribute to the strategic intent by leading a high performing team of 2 regional Sales Executives and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded whilst fostering strong client/guest relationships.

o Together with the GM of URBNSURF Melbourne and URBNSURF Sydney, develop and implement national sales strategies in line with company targets.
o Together with GM of URBNSURF Melbourne and URBNSURF Sydney, align our product and packages that we are selling, in a compelling and simple way.
o Manage a team of two regional Sales Executives
o Recruit and train team members as required.
o Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
o Conduct performance reviews and implement strategies to improve team performance.
o Develop an effective sales incentive program that drives performance
o Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
o Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities.
o Manage sales budgets, resources, and expenses effectively.
o Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
o Align with internal teams such as the Contact Centre and the Welcome Desk to ensure the entire sales process is efficient and effective.
o Work with the Park GMs to design and roll out compelling packages and offers for the market.
o Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
o Develop and implement customer retention strategies.
o Gather customer feedback and insights to improve products and services.
• Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance analysis to the Senior Leadership Team, Commercial Team and Board as required.
o Monitor and analyse sales metrics to identify areas for improvement.
o Utilize CRM systems and other tools to manage sales data and track progress.
• The role will require travel to meet with regional team, customers, and attend industry events.
• The position will involve working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and sales team management skills with a proven track record of motivating high performance sales teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Analytical skills to assess market trends and sales performance.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
• Ability to travel nationally as required.
